Internal Design and Integrated Power
This Power Mate module combines a rectifier and amplifier in one chassis. A DSP executes position and velocity control algorithms at 8 kHz. The GE A02B-0166-B531 accepts single-phase AC power directly from mains. Three 2200 µF capacitors store energy for peak torque demands. The built-in regeneration resistor dissipates energy during deceleration. Consequently, this unit provides complete servo control without external components.
Installation and Wiring Guide
First, mount this module vertically inside a ventilated control cabinet. Next, connect single-phase AC power to the L1 and L2 terminals. Then, wire the servo motor cables to the U, V, and W output terminals. Connect the encoder feedback cable to the CN2 port securely. Use shielded cables for all encoder and I/O signal wiring. The module requires at least 100 mm clearance for proper air circulation. LED indicators show power, ready, run, and fault status. This Power Mate module works with GE Fanuc servo motors and CNC systems. Always install an external circuit breaker for overcurrent protection.
