The ASB875001 stores absolutely no energy onboard. Therefore, you can handle this module immediately after power removal. Use the removable terminal block for all field wiring connections. Meanwhile, the software selects each input range independently.

Installation and Compatibility

You can mount this module on any standard 35 mm DIN rail. Snap the ASB875001 firmly onto the rail until you hear the click. Then connect the 24V supply to terminals 1 and 2. Always configure the input ranges before you apply process signals.

This module communicates via the Advantys backplane bus. It automatically detects the slot position on power-up. The ASB875001 replaces older ASB870 series modules directly without rewiring.

Environmental and Safety Data

The ASB875001 operates from -10°C to +55°C. It withstands 3g vibration per IEC 60068-2-6. The circuit board has a full conformal coating for humidity protection. Consequently, you can use this module in wash-down environments. Avoid connecting voltages above 30V to any input channel.
