Internal Design and Wiring Layout

This terminal assembly uses a single PCB with gold-plated signal traces. Twenty-four cage-clamp terminals accept solid or stranded wires without special tools. The GE IC660TBR100 provides a direct electrical path between field devices and the Genius block. The assembly passes 24 V DC field power through to the connected I/O module. A dedicated M4 grounding stud connects the cable shield to earth ground. This passive component introduces no signal delay or active signal conditioning.

Installation and Wiring Guide

First, mount this terminal assembly onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail securely. Next, engage the two integrated locking clips to prevent vertical movement. Then, plug your Genius I/O block directly onto the 24-pin male header. Connect your field device wires to the numbered screw terminals (1 through 24). Use a small flathead screwdriver to open each cage-clamp terminal for wire insertion. Strip each wire to 7 mm before inserting it into the terminal opening. Connect the shield drain wire to the M4 grounding stud for noise reduction. This terminal assembly works with all Genius discrete I/O blocks including IC660BBD110, IC660BBD120, and IC660BBD130.
