Functional Architecture and Signal Conditioning

This card connects field wiring to the INFI 90 I/O modules. It uses eight independent channels with individual filtering circuits. You can configure each channel for different signal types. Moreover, the card includes surge suppression on every input channel. These components protect the backplane from voltage transients. Installation and Operational Guidelines

The ABB Bailey IICCD01 consumes 80 mA at 24V DC for operation. It attenuates common-mode noise by 60 dB at 60 Hz. You must configure each channel’s signal type using the onboard jumpers. Always use shielded cables for channels with thermocouple inputs. This practice reduces measurement errors from electrical noise. Furthermore, the card supports cold junction compensation for thermocouples. This feature automatically corrects for ambient temperature changes.
