Serial Port Configuration and Features
Port 1 provides standard RS-232 signals for short-distance communication up to 15 meters. This port includes RTS and CTS hardware handshake lines for flow control. Port 2 supports RS-485 for multi-drop networks with up to 32 devices. The ABB 1SAP170400R0001 allows 2-wire or 4-wire RS-485 configurations via jumpers.
