You will find a 50-pin female connector on the right side panel. This connector accepts the Premium extension cable from the main rack. Connect one cable end to the primary rack’s expansion port. Then, connect the other end to this mini rack’s input connector. The Schneider TSXRKZ02 includes no separate power input. It draws all necessary power from the main rack through the cable. Each slot receives +5 VDC at up to 1.5 amps maximum. The backplane also passes I/O bus signals between adjacent slots. Always terminate the last rack in a chain properly.

Installation and Mounting Steps

You mount this rack onto a flat metal panel with four screws. First, mark the four mounting hole positions carefully. Then, drill 4.5 mm holes for M4 screws. Secure the rack using M4 screws with lock washers. Connect the extension cable between the main rack and this unit. The Schneider TSXRKZ02 requires no additional configuration jumpers. Install your I/O modules into the three empty slots gently. Slide each module until the backplane connector seats firmly. The rack automatically addresses modules based on physical position.
