Output Architecture and Data Transmission

The DTA 102 features two independent ASI output ports on BNC connectors. Each port transmits transport-stream data up to 216 Mbps. The module also includes one IP output for network streaming applications. An FPGA handles all data formatting and packet generation. The Schneider DTA 102 supports both 188-byte and 204-byte packet sizes. A 27 MHz crystal oscillator provides the master timing reference.

ASI Output Characteristics and Signal Quality

This high-speed transport-stream output provides 75 Ω impedance for ASI signals. The output return loss exceeds 15 dB at 270 MHz for minimal reflections. Peak-to-peak jitter measures less than 5 nanoseconds for stable decoding. The DTA 102 drives coaxial cables up to 300 meters without repeaters. It automatically detects and locks to the input clock source. Two green LEDs indicate active transmission on each ASI port.

IP Streaming and Network Integration

The Schneider DTA 102 includes a 100BASE-TX Ethernet port for IP output. This port supports UDP and RTP transport protocols. The module streams transport data at rates up to 500 Mbps.
