The FC-PSU-UNI2450 delivers 24 VDC output power for Honeywell Safety Manager and Experion PKS systems. This power supply accepts a wide universal input range of 85–264 VAC or 100–370 VDC . Consequently, it operates seamlessly across different regional power grids without manual configuration. The module provides up to 50 W of continuous output power at 24 VDC with excellent regulation characteristics.

Robust Protection and Reliability Features

The FC-PSU-UNI2450 incorporates comprehensive protection circuits for overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit conditions. These protective features automatically engage to safeguard both the supply and the connected control system. Additionally, the unit includes an active power factor correction (PFC) circuit to minimize harmonic distortion on the mains input. Installation and Wiring Details

The FC-PSU-UNI2450 mounts directly onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail for quick installation. The front-facing terminal block accepts wire gauges up to 12 AWG (3.3 mm²) with a strip length of 8 mm . This design simplifies both the input AC/DC wiring and the output DC distribution. Moreover, the power supply includes a 5 V DC auxiliary output for powering small field indicators or relay coils .
