Intelligent Alarm Routing and Annunciation

The FC-PDB-ARTF05 functions as a dedicated alarm routing terminal for the Honeywell Safety Manager platform. This module provides sophisticated alarm annunciation and sequence-of-events recording for critical process conditions. It supports up to 16 field contact inputs and 8 relay output contacts. Consequently, the module ensures operators receive timely and accurate notifications of safety-related events.

Event Sequencing and Time-Stamping Capabilities

The FC-PDB-ARTF05 captures and time-stamps each input state change with 1 ms resolution accuracy. This high-resolution recording enables precise sequence-of-events analysis for post-incident investigation. The module stores up to 512 events in its onboard non-volatile memory buffer. Furthermore, it supports first-out alarm detection to identify the root cause of shutdown sequences. The module also provides programmable time delays for alarm acknowledgment and reset functions.

Relay Outputs and Field Interface

The FC-PDB-ARTF05 features 8 form-C relay outputs with 250 VAC / 30 VDC contact ratings . These outputs directly drive annunciator panels, warning lights, and audible alarms. The module also includes 16 digital inputs that accept 24 VDC signals from field switches . A 40-pin terminal block provides all field wiring connections for easy installation. Moreover, the module offers LED indicators for each input and output for visual diagnostics.
