Hardware Architecture and Memory Storage

The QPI-2D100-L2P integrates a 32-bit RISC processor running at 66 MHz. Four megabytes of flash memory store application screens and configuration data. Two megabytes of DRAM handle runtime variables and alarm logs. The CCFL backlight provides approximately 30,000 hours of typical operation.

Interface and Connectivity

Two RS-232 serial ports connect the panel to PLCs and barcode scanners. One RS-422/485 port supports multi-drop networking for up to 31 devices. A 10Base-T Ethernet port allows network connectivity for data logging. The rear panel also features a contrast adjustment and a reset button.

Practical Installation Notes

Cut a 28.2 x 21.2 cm hole in the cabinet door for flush mounting. The QPI-2D100-L2P requires 10 cm clearance behind the panel for cables. Use the included mounting clamps to secure the unit from the rear. Clean the resistive touch surface only with a soft, damp cloth.
