Engineered for GE Series One PLC Systems
This rack provides mounting and backplane connectivity for PLC modules. It supports the GE IC610CHS130A base unit in small control systems. You will find this rack in legacy GE Series One installations. Unlike larger racks, this compact version holds five modules. It accommodates power supply, CPU, and up to three I/O modules.

Functional Architecture and Power Distribution
This rack uses a passive backplane for module communication. It distributes power from the supply module to all other slots. You must install the power supply in the leftmost slot. Moreover, the rack includes a built-in field wiring terminal block. This component connects 24V DC power to I/O modules directly. Consequently, the system reduces external wiring between modules and field devices.
Installation and Operational Guidelines
The GE IC610CHS130A requires no separate backplane connectors. It comes pre-assembled with all internal bus wiring. You must mount the rack on a flat, grounded surface. Always leave 75mm clearance above for module removal. This practice allows easy access to all five module slots. Furthermore, the rack supports keying pins for module positioning. This feature prevents incorrect module insertion into wrong slots.
Physical Characteristics and Environmental Limits
This rack has a rugged, powder-coated steel chassis with plastic guides. Its substantial 1.65 kg weight reflects the industrial-grade construction. The layout follows GE standard Series One specifications. Therefore, it mounts directly to a backplate or inside a control cabinet. The rack includes labeling for each module slot position. In addition, it maintains stable operation between 0°C and 60°C ambient temperature. You can store this unit safely between -40°C and 85°C.
