3300 Series Two-Channel Velocity Monitoring Module
The 3300/55-03-04-14-14-00-00-04-00 delivers continuous velocity measurement for two independent transducer inputs. This monitor operates within the 3300 Series platform and supports dual-channel seismic sensing. It processes each signal separately and compares them against configurable alarm thresholds. The device then activates the appropriate relays when any channel crosses its setpoint.

Signal Processing and Alarm Logic
The monitor continuously evaluates each velocity input against its respective threshold levels. It then triggers the alarm relay when a signal exceeds the first setpoint. Subsequently, the danger relay activates if the signal reaches the critical limit. Each channel maintains independent operation, so a fault on one does not compromise the other. The device also provides a buffered output for external diagnostic equipment.
Installation and Configuration
Mount the 3300/55-03-04-14-14-00-00-04-00 securely within the 19-inch rack first. Next, connect the transducer cables to the appropriate input terminals. After that, apply +24 Vdc power and verify the OK LED illuminates. You can then adjust the alarm setpoints using the front-panel potentiometers. Subsequently, configure the time delay to prevent nuisance tripping during startup.
Reliability and Routine Maintenance
This module stores all configuration parameters in non-volatile memory. Therefore, a power cycle will not erase your programmed settings. We recommend you perform periodic calibration checks on both input channels. You should also inspect the terminal connections for any signs of wear or corrosion.
