This analog input module measures high-level voltage signals from field devices. You can install Yokogawa AAI135-S03 directly into CENTUM VP I/O racks. The unit accepts up to 16 voltage input channels per module. It converts analog signals to digital data for process control applications.

Board Layout and Components
The PCB arranges 16 input channels in two banks of eight. A high-speed 16-bit ADC samples each channel sequentially. Moreover, 218 discrete components include precision voltage dividers and protection circuits. Tantalum capacitors stabilize the voltage reference for accurate conversions. Installation Process
You can mount Yokogawa AAI135-S03 into any CENTUM VP I/O rack slot. The backplane connector supplies power and transfers digital data to the CPU. Furthermore, a removable terminal block accepts field wiring for all 16 channels. Software configuration selects the input range per bank of eight channels.
