The TSXPSY1610M stores moderate energy (470 µF on the output). Therefore, you need a 15-second discharge wait after AC power removal. Use the screw terminals for external 24V loads if needed. Meanwhile, the backplane header supplies power to all rack modules.
Installation and Compatibility
You must mount this module in the leftmost slot of any Premium rack. Insert the TSXPSY1610M into the dedicated power slot until it seats fully. Then connect AC wires to the L, N, and Earth terminals. Always verify the input voltage selector matches your local supply.
This module powers any combination of Premium I/O and processor modules. It automatically limits current during startup to prevent inrush issues. The TSXPSY1610M replaces older TSXPSY16 models with higher efficiency.

The TSXPSY1610M operates from 0°C to +55°C. It derates output current to 7A above 50°C ambient. The circuit board has a full conformal coating. Consequently, you can use this module in mildly humid environments. Leave 50 mm of free space above and below for airflow.
