Description

The ICS Triplex T8449C is designed to interface with up to 20 field devices, with each device controlled via an output channel and monitored through a separate feedback channel. This module includes advanced valve diagnostics and offers active valve testing, such as partial stroke testing. Additionally, it ensures that field devices remain available by continuously monitoring line integrity and detecting open or short circuit failures in wiring.

This module supports automatic diagnostics, self-testing, and robust protection features, including over-current protection and opto/galvanic isolation. It is certified for use in standard industrial settings but is not approved for direct connection to hazardous areas.
