The FS211/N from Bachmann is a FASTBUS slave module designed to facilitate long-distance distribution of SubDevices with minimal signal delay. Equipped with an integrated power supply, it can efficiently power I/O modules within a SubDevice network. The FS211/N supports up to 15 distributed SubDevices, ensuring stable and fast communication across extended distances.

Key Features and Performance

The FS211/N features one or two fiber optic interfaces for seamless communication. Depending on the cable type used, it supports distances of up to 180 meters for special HCS cables, 150 meters for HCS cables, and 40 meters for POF cables. Additionally, the FS211/N offers a clear status display with RUN/ERR indicators and fiber type indication, helping to monitor the system’s health in real-time.
