Internal Design and Communication Processing

This base station uses a dedicated communication processor for I/O Link protocol. An onboard buffer memory stores the I/O mapping table for all slaves. The GE A03B-0807-C300 supports up to 8 remote I/O stations on the network. The base station scans all connected slaves every 5 milliseconds. Two 470 µF capacitors filter power supply ripple for clean operation. Consequently, this device provides fast and reliable remote I/O expansion for CNC systems.

Installation and Wiring Guide

First, mount this base station onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail securely. Next, connect a 24 V DC power supply to the designated terminals. Then, link the 25-pin SUB-D connector to your CNC controller interface. Wire your remote I/O stations to the 12-pin ports (1 through 8). Use shielded cables for all I/O Link connections to reduce noise. The module automatically scans and identifies connected slaves on startup. Six LED indicators show power, run, communication, fault, and port activity status. This I/O Link base station works with GE Fanuc CNC systems and compatible remote I/O modules.
