This communication interface module combines Ethernet and dual serial ports in a single, compact unit. The RS-232C and RS-485 ports support Modbus RTU and DNP3 protocols, connecting with a wide range of field devices. Flexible Serial Communication Capabilities
This communication interface module’s RS-485 port operates in multidrop mode, supporting up to 32 devices over distances reaching 1,200 meters. The RS-485 port features 1500 VAC isolation, protecting the module and controller from electrical noise and ground loops. Both serial ports allow independent configuration of baud rate (300 bps to 115.2 kbps), data bits, parity, and stop bits.
