Precision Pulse Counting for Motion Feedback
This counter card captures high-frequency pulses from encoders and sensors. The Fuji NV1F-HC1 provides one high-speed counter channel for your MICREX-SX system. It accepts input frequencies up to 100 kHz for accurate position tracking. A built‑in comparator triggers outputs when the count reaches preset values. Consequently, this module suits length measurement, cut-to-length, and rotary encoder applications.
Counter Specifications & Operating Modes
The Fuji NV1F-HC1 operates in up-count, down-count, or quadrature modes. You can connect incremental encoders with A/B phase signals for direction sensing. A programmable preset value allows automatic output activation at specific counts. The card also features a latch input for capturing instantaneous position values. Therefore, this high-speed counter handles demanding motion control tasks without CPU intervention.

Installation & Encoder Wiring
You insert the Fuji NV1F-HC1 into any available slot of your MICREX-SX rack. Connect your encoder to the dedicated 5V differential or 24V input terminals. For quadrature counting, wire both A and B phase signals accordingly. The CPU reads the current count value from dedicated memory registers. Your ladder program then compares the count against machine setpoints.
Operational Advantages & Real-Time Counting
The Fuji NV1F-HC1 counts pulses independently of the CPU scan time. This approach prevents missed pulses during fast machine operation. You can reset the counter to zero using a program instruction or external signal. The comparator output activates within microseconds of reaching the preset value. Therefore, this high-speed card delivers precise length control for shearing and slitting lines.
