Precision Speed and Acceleration Monitoring for Critical Machinery
The Bently Nevada 3500/50 133450-01 Tachometer Module measures shaft speed, rotor acceleration, and rotor direction with high precision. This 2-channel module accepts input from proximity probes or magnetic pickups to monitor machinery performance. It then compares these measurements with user-programmable alarm setpoints, triggering alerts when the setpoints are exceeded.
You can program the 3500/50 Tachometer Module using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. It offers four configuration options, which allow you to customize the monitoring to your needs:
- Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Speed Band Alarming
- Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Zero Speed Notification
- Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Rotor Acceleration Alarming

Additionally, the 3500/50 Tachometer Module can send conditioned Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane. This feature removes the need for a separate Keyphasor module, simplifying your setup.
