Design and Functionality
The Bently Nevada 3500/15E installs on the left side of the 3500 rack, powering all modules independently. When two supplies are present, the lower unit acts as the main source while the upper unit functions as a backup. If the main module fails, the backup instantly continues operation without system interruption. Engineers can safely insert or remove one module while the other maintains power continuity.
Its universal input flexibility allows compatibility with multiple voltage environments. The High Voltage DC and Low Voltage DC configurations serve different industrial needs, from heavy-duty energy systems to compact monitoring setups.
Input Configurations
Universal AC
The Universal AC Power Supply handles voltages from 85 to 264 VAC RMS. It supports global power standards, ensuring flexibility for facilities using varied grid systems.
High Voltage DC
The High Voltage DC option operates efficiently between 88 and 140 VDC, providing dependable energy for high-performance systems in industrial environments.
Low Voltage DC
The Low Voltage DC version runs within 20 to 30 VDC, optimizing energy efficiency for low-voltage or space-constrained applications.
Compatibility
The 3500/15E works seamlessly with modern 3500 Series Power Input Modules (PIMs). However, it does not interface with legacy 3500 High or Low Voltage AC/DC PIMs, ensuring optimal safety and modernized performance.
Country of Origin
Manufactured in the United States (USA), ensuring compliance with global industrial and reliability standards.
