This termination module connects field digital devices to INFI 90 I/O cards. You can install ABB Bailey NIDI01 directly inside INFI 90 system cabinets. The unit provides screw terminals for 32 digital field signals. It includes status indicators for each input channel.

Unit Construction and Components

The unit houses a PCB with 32 screw terminal positions. Each terminal includes a series LED and current-limiting resistor. Moreover, 96 discrete components include bypass capacitors and pull-up resistors. Red LEDs illuminate when the corresponding input receives 24V DC. Consequently, field technicians see input status without accessing the I/O card.

Installation Process

You can mount ABB Bailey NIDI01 on standard 35 mm DIN rails. Two 50-pin ribbon cables connect the termination module to a digital I/O card. Furthermore, screw terminals accept field wiring from push-buttons, switches, and sensors. Numbered labels identify each of the 32 terminal positions clearly.
